During a university presentation, my professor told me that my ideas were well researched but that I needed to communicate them more concisely.
How did you respond to that feedback?

Was the feedback difficult to hear at first?
 
A little, because I had spent a lot of time preparing. But I realized that the feedback wasn't about how hard I had worked—it was about how effectively I communicated my ideas.
How has that experience changed the way you receive feedback?
Now I try not to become defensive. I listen carefully, ask questions if something isn't clear, and think about how I can apply the feedback to improve my work.
